Counter height or bar height?

Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop, then allow roughly 25–30cm of clearance for your legs. As a guide, a counter-height stool (seat around 65cm) suits a standard kitchen island, while a bar-height stool (seat around 75cm) suits a taller bar or raised benchtop.
